Hello! Welcome to my blog!

My name is Patrice, I am thrilled to have you here. As a student teacher, I am passionate about the art of teaching and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of my students.

When I am not immersed in the world of education, you can often find me engrossed in a good book. Reading has always been a cherished pastime of mine, and I believe in the power of literature to broaden our horizons and ignite our imagination. Through my blog, I aim to share my love for books, offer recommendations, and explore the transformative power of reading in the classroom.

In addition to my love for teaching and reading, I am an avid sportsperson. Hockey, softball, golf and volleyball are my favorite sports, and I find great joy and fulfillment in participating in these activities. Sports teach us valuable lessons about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, which I believe are integral to a well-rounded education.

At home, I am lucky to have a furry companion named Gertrude. My cat brings me endless joy and provides comfort during busy and stressful times. I believe in the therapeutic benefits of having pets and the unconditional love they offer.

Having lived overseas and worked in German education system for two years, I have gained a global perspective on education and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. This experience has shaped my teaching approach and instilled in me a commitment to fostering inclusivity and understanding in the classroom.

Education is a family affair for me, as both my mother and sister are teachers. Their dedication and passion for teaching have been a constant source of inspiration throughout my journey. I am grateful for their guidance and support, which have shaped my teaching philosophy.

Currently, I work as a teacher's aid at a small school with a close-knit community of 90 students. This role allows me to actively contribute to the learning environment and support the growth and development of each student.

Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences, reflections, insights, and ideas on teaching, learning, and creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment. Join me on this exciting journey as we explore the world of education together!
